About Attorney David H. Harris, Jr.
Attorney Harris has been helping victims of wrongful and negligent conduct since 1992, when he first became licensed to practice law. Throughout over 20 years of experience and practice, Attorney Harris has always concentrated specifically in the field of helping injured victims receive just and fair compensation from wrongdoers — whether they be an individual or corporation.
Attorney Harris graduated from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois in 1988 with a double major in Political Science and History. He continued his studies and obtained his Juris Doctorate degree in 1991 at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, a nationally recognized law school for its legal writing program.
Immediately upon graduation from The John Marshall Law School, Attorney Harris became an associate at a personal injury firm in Waukegan, Illinois. After a few short years, he was overseeing a busy office of 3 other attorneys as a lead associate. Honing his skills, Attorney Harris conducted jury trials, arbitration hearings, mediation hearings and settlement of thousands of claims regarding injured persons. Attorney Harris also successfully won a case for a client at the Appellate Court after writing a legal brief that convinced the Appellate Judges that the lower Court was incorrect in dismissing Attorney Harris’s client’s claim.
After cutting his teeth at a personal injury firm and learning his trade, Attorney Harris opened up his own personal injury firm in September of 1999. Since that date, he has continued to represent those injured by the wrongful conduct of other individuals and corporations.
